 The importance of MACHINES

Machines are used daily in this modern era for almost all tasks. They help us by making our work easier, faster and better.

We use machines in our day-to-day life to make our life easier. Machines can carry out our tasks in a faster, quicker, and more efficient way. Our phones, laptops, refrigerators, microwaves, etc. are all examples of machines which help us in carrying out various tasks with ease.

(i) Machines help us to make our work better

Machines are used in all kinds of industries to carry out tasks that would take much longer for a human to do. Recent advancements in automation and robotics have made it possible to run entire factories with only automatic machines without the need for any human labor.
(ii) Machines help us to do work better

Machines can often help us, and we can work together with machines to carry out tasks faster. For eg., Lawn mowing machines can help us in cutting lawn grass faster than cutting it manually.

(iii) Machines help to reduce work

Due to machines, we don’t have to put in as much effort into working as we had to before. For e.g., farming equipment like the tractor and the harvester reduces the manual labor done by the farmers very significantly.

Note

Machines are very useful to us in our day-to-day life for all kinds of tasks. However, they also have some disadvantages. Devices like phones and laptops can be very distracting. Automation and robotics can also become so much more efficient that people start losing their jobs as machines can do all repetitive tasks much better after a certain point.
